We have built HeyAskr with safety as the top priority. Conversations are never stored, children never create accounts, and you control all the rules. However, HeyAskr uses AI technology which is imperfect — see our Terms of Service for full details.

Can my child bypass the rules I set?

We have designed the system to follow your rules consistently, but no AI system is perfect. If you notice unexpected responses, please contact us immediately at hello@heyaskr.com

Are conversations stored?

No. When the chat window closes, the conversation is gone. We never store what your child says to HeyAskr.

What languages does HeyAskr support?

HeyAskr can respond in Icelandic, English, Spanish, French, German, Danish, Norwegian, Swedish, Polish, Japanese, Chinese and Arabic.

What age is HeyAskr suitable for?

HeyAskr is designed for children aged 5-18. You set the age in your parent settings and the AI adjusts its language accordingly.

How is this different from ChatGPT?

ChatGPT is built for adults. HeyAskr is built for parents — you set the rules, in your own words. No therapy, no homework shortcuts, no surprises.

How do I cancel?

You can cancel anytime from your account settings. No questions asked.
